Our Expectations of Federal Government

As to the workings of the Federal Government, we have clear expectations:

Legislative Branch:  We seek incorruptible citizen-representatives.  We oppose career politicians, party politics as usual, gerrymandering, voting by non-citizens, socialism, social engineering, delegation of power to unaccountable bureaucrats, unfunded mandates, government-driven transfer payments and all legislation that has the effect of transferring wealth or debt among the citizenry, particularly among generations.  Congress holds the duty to appropriate.  We want the Federal budget balanced and we want the Federal debt eliminated.

Judicial Branch:  We support a strict constructionist view of the Constitution.  We oppose Constitutional tampering and legislation from the bench.  We demand the defense of individual freedoms affirmed in the Constitution, including the right to keep and bear arms.

Executive Branch: We expect the enforcement of the Law and the defense, militarily and fiscally, of our Country.
